America is notorious for its lack of public restrooms. Unlike Europe, however, it is extremely uncommon to find people relieving themselves in public places. For lack of a more polite way of putting it, Americans simply hold it in. Until they get home, that is.
Nothing brought the pronounced lack of US of facilities into focus more than this week’s revelation that Marines had filmed themselves urinating on the bodies dead Afghans. In bad taste? Most certainly. A war crime? More than likely.
Searching for topically-related photos, Souciant found a plethora of potty-related shots taken by US soldiers stationed in the Mideast. If only the guilty parties had taken the easy way out, and urinated on a defensive wall, like this GI, in Afghanistan.
